What this site keeps.
Very little, and nothing it sells. This page is the whole of it, in plain words. Last updated 26 October 2026.
Who
This site is run by Lincoln Madaraka. For any question about your data, or to have it copied, corrected or deleted, email softwares.lincoln@gmail.com.
What is counted for everyone
Which pages you open, how long each one stays open, the site that sent you (its address only), and whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer. That is tied to a cookie that forgets you after 30 minutes without a visit, so it counts visits, not people. The site does not store your IP address or take a fingerprint of your browser, and none of it is shared with anyone else. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted at all.
What Accept adds
A cookie that remembers your browser for six months, so separate visits count as one reader. If you then send an enquiry, it arrives with the list of pages you read, so the reply can start from what you already know. Reject, or no answer, leaves only the counting above. Your answer is kept for six months, and you can change it at any time under Cookie settings at the foot of every page.
When you get in touch
The contact form sends what you type into it: your name, email, company if you give one, your message, the kind of work you picked, and whether I may follow up later. With it go the pages you read on this visit (or across visits, if you accepted cookies) and, if you arrived from an ad, the campaign tags on that link. Those tags stay in your own browser for 30 days and leave it only with an enquiry you send. I use all of this to reply to you, and for nothing else. You are not added to any list.
WhatsApp and email are not part of this site: a message there is between you and me on those services. The site only counts that the button was tapped.
Where it is kept
The site is hosted by Vercel. Visit counts and enquiries are stored on the server that runs it. Each enquiry is also emailed to my own inbox. Counts are kept while they are useful, with the oldest dropped as new ones arrive; an enquiry is kept until you ask me to delete it.
